Disposition!

What’s your disposition today?  One of gloom and doom or one of bloom and zoom for a better day?  Hopefully, you will color your world with the latter as you face this day and the days to follow.  Your disposition matters to you and others.  A happy disposition puts you in position to positively affect the lives of others as it will dethrone the gloom and enthrone joyfulness in its place.  Live life in a position that uplifts rathers than deflates.  Dispose of the doom that so easily besets us, and you will be in the position of power to conquer.  Charge on brave one as you dispose of the negative and replace it with the positive.  With God’s help, you can and will!!!

Fear Not!

Fear can cripple your day faster than a speeding bullet.  So how you can dodge this deadly malady?  One sure fire way is to gain strength and encouragement from another.  No greater encourager is the Lord God himself.  He speaks against fear 365 times in the Bible (interesting number when you think about it– that’s your one-a-day fear pill).  Look to Him and His strength to carry you onward in the daily battle.  Fear trembles at His feet.  So when the storm clouds gather, look upward!.

Success and Football!

Success and football are linked in an inseparable way– you will not win unless fearless tackling is in the game plan.  Problems will always arise in life, but how you will face them will determine winning and losing.  Be ready to line up and accept the challenge head on.  You and your God are bigger than you think.  Allow God to be your coach to spur you onward to victory as you follow His all-knowing game plan.  Be confident!   Success and Victory will soon be yours!

Mr. Hope or Mr. Nope!

As you start this day, two persons will come knocking at life’s door—  Mr. Hope and Mr. Nope.  The one you allow to come in and abide will determine your steps and thoughts.  Mr. Nope looks at life with viewpoint of half-empty  and negativism; whereas, Mr. Hope views each day with a half-full view and the opportunity of filling the glass to the top with positivism.  Will your glass today be a prism of light bursting forth with splendid positivity to those you meet, or will it only be a meager sip of  “should da, would da, could da”!  It all depends upon which of the two you allow to come across the threshold of your life.  Open and invite wisely– your life depends upon it!!

Wisdom

When you actually look closely at the word “Wisdom”, it declares its own meaning– “Whiz by the dumb”.  If you are truly wise, you will not stay in the company of the naive or the fool.  You will just whiz by as a racer striving for the finish.  Yet, remember that knowledge is not wisdom.  Knowledge is the facts, but wisdom is the wise application of those facts for the betterment of others.  Gain wisdom and you will gain the wealth of greatness; gain foolishness and you will gain the folly of folly.  Thus, whiz on to wisdom, it eagerly awaits those who strive after her.

Simple Pleasure!

In this hectic, high technology world which strives to drive you to the next new and better gizmo, think for a moment.  Is life only about getting and keeping up with the crowd? Is it complicating our lives with the latest and greatest to impress our friends or cater to our wants?  Take a moment and ponder.  Is this truly real life where we depend more on machines than communicating with people face to face, not on facebook or twitter?  Simplify!  Make an appointment with others to sit down face to face and just share life.  Simplicity will have its rewards!!

Wind Chime in the Storm!

As the wind blows stronger, the sound of the wind chimes grows stronger in its own right.  The melodious tones permeate the air with their sounds of positivity as the winds of darkness attempt to drown them out.  Maybe today, you will the wind chime that people need to hear as the storm clouds surround and abound.  Sing forth and the joyful sounds and light of your life will be a comforting reminder that life is not as dim as it seems.
