Celebrating today my 34th Anniversary with my lovely bride, Cathy. I fondly remember the day we said, “I Do and I Will”; September 5th, 1976 was the BEST day of my life. By God’s grace and strength, we have hung in there through thick and thin over these three decades. Sure, those “thin” times raised their heads when we least expectedly them. But frankly, every relationship will have times that aren’t always pleasant. Yet, if love and commitment are joined at the hip, the relationship will actually blossom in and through the lean times. Remember, LOVE is not necessarily happiness every moment, but a commitment and desire for the betterment of your spouse. Any plant worth its salt will struggle through the droughts, but it will be much stronger for it. Take a close look at your relationship today– water it, nurture it, and protect it for your sake and your children. Never, Never forget!– Future generations will stand and applaud you for your effort!
